Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making 2008 an amazing year at The Rainbow Network! It has been a challenging year as food shortages, sky-rocketing fuel prices, and our own nation’s economic troubles all impacted our work.
Through it all, lives have been saved and changed for the better. One shining example is that in this year of hunger, The Rainbow Network was able to serve more than 3 million meals to hungry children!
This week a number of you received two copies of our most recent mailing. We apologize for the mistake, an error occurred during the mailing process and a portion of the list was received two letters. It is our intent to always provide excellent information and opportunity to participate at the lowest cost possible. In fact, through careful planning we were able to reduce our postage expenses and the cost of printing our letters by approximately 50% in 2008 as compared to 2007!
In addition, we have been able to reduce the expenses associated with producing our magazine dramatically as well. The error with the recent mailing has been identified and we look forward to providing letters, magazines, emails, and videos to our partners in the future while providing even more efficient stewardship of your gifts.
