Many of you have probably noticed that CBS has filmed the newest season of the reality/game show Surivor in Nicaragua. The new season is set to debute on Wednesday, September 15, 2010. That’s this week!
Well, do we have some exciting news for those of you in Southwest Missouri. During each episode of Survivor:Nicaragua KOLR, our local CBS affiliate, will be airing a new televsion spot promoting Rainbow Network and asking people to text the word “rainbow” from their mobile phones to the number 85944. A $5 donation will be added to participants phone bills.
This is a new and exciting way to raise funds and, we hope, find lots of new supporters who are willing to give just a little to make a big difference in the lives of impoverished families in Nicaragua.
Anyone will a cell phone can text rainbow to 85944 and make a $5 gift. We certainly hope you will.
Please share this post on Facebook, Twitter, or your blog to help us spread the world! Try making your status update read: I texted rainbow to 85944 to support The Rainbow Network, will you?”
Thanks everyone!
