About Us

Geronima Quote

We're on a mission.

And that mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with Nicaragua's poorest people in healthcare, education, economic development, and housing.

We've been doing this for nearly 25 years, and have grown into one of Springfield's most innovative, unique nonprofit organizations. We are dedicated to building relationships with our community, to being completely transparent in our work, and, of course, to the people of rural Nicaragua.

Each of our programs are woven together to create our entire network. This ensures strong communication throughout the organization, high efficiency, and sustainability in our work. This isn't about doing a good deed or looking good for the community -- it's about empowering the rural poor in Nicaragua and giving them the tools to build themselves a better future, out of poverty. For good.

A hand up, not a hand out.

We don't believe in just dropping by then taking off. The Rainbow Network has adopted a model of nonprofit management that serves to better the lives of others through empowerment and education. We ease the transition out of poverty and assist in helping people in the pursuit of a happier, healthier life.

We developed four key programs that form a strong, successful community. By helping to provide access to higher education, quality healthcare, safe and secure housing, and the tools to develop the economy, we hope that this well-rounded approach will support Nicaragua in its fight out of extreme poverty.
