Ciudad Darío was formed in 2006. The area we serve is comprised of 18 small rural communities which are; Zonzapote, Buena Vista, Ojo de Agua, San Pedro, Piedra Rajada, Los Pedernales, El Roble, Valle San Juan, La Ceibita, Quesera, Encuentros, El Prado, Las Jaguas, Las Pilas, La Pita, San Agustín, Totumbla and Apacorral.

There are 74 Rainbow Network grade schools with 1,129 students attending, 153 high school students with a Rainbow Network scholarship, 1,486 people are eating a nutritious meal each day in one of the Feeding Centers, 222 patient consultations are made by our doctors each month in this area, 312 families are enjoying the benefits of a Rainbow Network micro loan and 45 new Rainbow Network houses have been built since 2006.
