El Crucero Network, formed in 2001, consists of 17 small communities; Candelaria, Chichihualtepe, Daniel Teller, El Cañón, El Desenredo, Las Pilas, Los Fierros, Los Hidalgos, Nueva York, Pacaya, San Ramón, Santa Julia, El Callao, Temoa, Trapiche, Divina Infantita and San José de Acoto.

It has 52 Rainbow Network grade schools with 857 students and 124 high school students on a Rainbow Network scholarship. There are 131 patient consultations on average each month, and 1,522 people attend the Rainbow Network Feeding Centers daily.

90 new Rainbow Network homes have been built in the El Crucero area and 413 families are currently working with the small business loans increasing their income and providing for themselves.
