Children in Churches Partner with Niņos in Nicaragua
The
Junior Methodist Youth Fellowship of West Chelmsford
United Methodist Church is raising money to build a
house for a family in Nicaragua. The kids are selling
“bricks and rebar” (wooden blocks and dowel rods).
The
youth have reached their goal of $2,500 and are still
selling construction materials!
This
is yet another wonderful example of children and youth
in Rainbow Network’s partner churches responding to the
call to serve the poor in rural Nicaragua.

Rainbow Network is seeking churches and individuals to
help gather Christmas gifts for the 13,000 children we
are serving in Nicaragua!
|
Rainbow Network invites your help to ensure the
children of rural Nicaragua will receive a 2007
Christmas Toy Bag! Help us prepare gallon sized
plastic zipper bags for the Christmas of 2007.
The bags will provide basic hygiene items, candy
and several small toys for each child. These
bags should cost less than four dollars to
assemble.
Additionally, a suggested gift of two dollars
would help cover the cost of shipping (please
send it separately from the bag). Specific toys
have been chosen that are durable, used in
Nicaragua, and can fit in the bag.
