Support the mission of Rainbow Network with hands-on volunteering. Work done by volunteers allows Rainbow Network to save on overhead costs and divert even more funds into our programs.

Organize an event to raise money for the general fund or any program close to your heart. It could be a benefit dinner, concert, or other event; your creativity is the limit! Contact us to discuss options.

Schedule a presentation to your small church, social or neighborhood group. We have lots of materials available to help you spread the word of our success and the continued need for support. You can request a speaker by filling out the form HERE

Hold a Drive at your church, school or workplace to collect supplies for Rainbow Network. The following areas are our greatest needs:

  • School Supplies – All school supplies are needed. If you would like to purchase notebooks or other supplies by the pallet, please contact our office at 417-889-8088 for more information.
  • Shoes – With no cars and few bicycles, quality footwear is a critical need. Gently-used or new shoes (off-brand) make a great impact in the quality of life. Please no high heels or dress shoes.
  • Toys – Toys bring great joy to children, but please give thoughtfully. We ask that sports balls be deflated for shipping purposes. Please no stuffed/plush animals, large toys, puzzles or multi-piece sets, or anything with batteries. For a complete list of items needed in Nicaragua, click HERE

Container Assistance. There are several weeks each year when we prepare & ship our filled containers, and we need lots of help! From sorting items, to taking inventory, to loading the container, to transporting goods from collection sites to loading areas, there is a job for everyone. Call us if your group is willing to assist.
