Our U.S. team is small — just two people! We work hard to keep our stateside costs low, and we are proud of the ways our team works efficiently to accomplish our goals.
However, this means volunteers are essential in helping us expand our reach.
In 2024, we launched our very first Rainbow Network Ambassador Team! This small pilot group of passionate supporters stepped up in big ways. They used their personal and professional networks to spread the word about all that God is doing in rural Nicaragua through Rainbow Network.
They opened doors to new supporters.
They thanked longtime donors.
They shared powerful stories of people in Nicaragua.
And they reminded others why this mission matters.
We took their feedback and made some updates to the program. And now — our 2025 team has hit the ground running!
One of this year’s ambassadors is Mark E. Here’s what he had to say about his experience:

What does an ambassador do?
“Ambassadors help with donor retention, cultivation, and education in places where Rainbow Network has limited staff or no staff available.”

What do you enjoy about being an ambassador?
“I can meet and talk with other people who feel the same way about the importance of Rainbow Network’s work. I enjoy hearing how and why others became involved.”

Why do you support this mission?
“There are three main reasons I like Rainbow Network.
First, they address a range of needs, including food, education, medical needs, economic development, and housing. That’s important to a community.
Second, the people who benefit from the ministry also give back through small financial contributions, volunteering, and tutoring.
Third, the communities become self-sustaining, so Rainbow Network’s resources can help other locations.
Rainbow Network is an organization that does things in the best possible way.”

Mark is dedicated, ambitious and a wonderful advocate for people in rural Nicaragua. We’re so thankful to have him on this year’s ambassador team!
Do you want to use your voice and connections to help spread the word about Rainbow Network?
We’d love to tell you more about the ambassador team!
