Local. Growing. Since 1995.

With the love and care that we get from Rainbow Network, we have a better life and a safer place.”-1

Connection. Transformation. Sustainability.

We've been doing this for nearly 25 years, and have grown into one of Springfield's most innovative, unique nonprofit organizations. We are dedicated to building relationships with our community, to being completely transparent in our work, and, of course, to the people of rural Nicaragua.

We developed four key programs that are woven together to create our entire network. This ensures strong communication throughout the organization, high efficiency, and sustainability in our work. This isn't about doing a good deed or looking good for the community -- it's about empowering the rural poor in Nicaragua and giving them the tools to build themselves a better future, out of poverty. For good.

We're on a mission.

And that mission is to share the love of Jesus Christ by partnering with Nicaragua's poorest people in healthcare, education, economic development, and housing.

For Nicaraguans. By Nicaraguans. With Nicaraguans.

Everything we do in Nicaragua is community-focused. The people of these communities invite Rainbow Network in, and oversee community progress through an elected committee. We believe that success does not lie in what we do, but with whom we work -- that's why we encourage individuals to pair their key strengths with the tools we provide to rebuild their own futures.

A hand up, not a hand out.

We don't believe in just dropping by then taking off. The Rainbow Network has adopted a model of nonprofit management that serves to better the lives of others through empowerment and education. The key lies in utilizing each individual's unique talents and interests to form a stronger, healthier community as it transitions out of poverty. Everything is connected. Everything benefits the entire community.
