Diego is from the San Miguelito community of the Nagarote network. Diego is a natural salesman and talented entrepreneur who has created an increasingly robust business by utilizing the programs of The Rainbow Network.
Diego began with a small road-side business selling food on the street. As his profits increased, he bought a sturdy wagon that would allow him year-round transportation of supplies around Nagarote. This would grant him the opportunity to work throughout the entire year instead of working around the seasons and the weather.
Diego watched his business swell with success. Later, he purchased a cow, a horse, a lawnmower (to cut feeding grass for the livestock), and a freezer in which to store perishables that were for sale in his store. Due to his magnificent leadership abilities and his talent for connecting with others, Diego became the Community Coordinator and has worked extremely hard to improve the conditions within his community.

Diego has made sure to focus on his children's education and to instill a strong work ethnic in them.
One of Diego's sons is following in his father's footsteps; he has already established his own business and sells homemade cheese.
Another one of his sons is studying and training to become a licensed veterinarian, a dream that would not have been possible without access to education through The Rainbow Network.
