Isabel Cuadra

Isabel Cuadra

Isabel is a woman of many talents who possesses a compassionate, kind heart. She is currently the treasurer of the sewing club in her community of Calle de los Besos.

In January 2003, Isabel received a loan to purchase a pedal sewing machine, and she began to make clothes for children out of scrap fabric.

As her business grew, she was able to purchase an electrical sewing machine that would allow Isabel to achieve a much larger production. She had become a successful and knowledgeable seamstress, and was providing many members of the community with clothing for their children and teenagers.

Isabel decided to expand her business to include backpacks and other common items that may need sewn or mended.

To bring another income into her family, she invested her profits in a refrigerator and began to sell ice, popsicles, ice cream, and other dairy products.
